TITLE SERVICES
How It Works
ATGF is committed to providing its members with the
best possible service and support in the title
insurance industry. As a member, you may direct
ATGF to handle the entire title and closing duties
yourself. The following is an illustration of how a
transaction may be accomplished:
You
have a client and you want to write title
insurance!

Step
1:

|
Obtain a previously
issued title insurance policy. Fill out
and fax to ATGF a TSR Request Order
|
|
Step
2:
|
|
Receive the TSR.
Examine the documents for sufficiency.
|
|
Step
3:
|
|
Write the Commitment.
Send the Commitment to the appropriate
parties. Forward to ATGF payment for the
TSR (if ATGF provides your searches).

Step
4:
|
|
Schedule the
Closing.
|
|
Step
5:
|
|
48 hours prior to
closing, fax a TSR Update Request to ATGF
(if ATGF is providing searches). If ATGF
is not providing searches, order a title
search update from your provider.

Step
6:
|
|
Conduct the Closing.
Disburse the funds. Record the
documents.
|
|
Step
7:
|
|
2 weeks after closing
fill out and fax a TSR Final Update
Request to ATGF (if ATGF is providing
search)
|
|
Step
8:
|
|
Receive the TSR Update.
Examine the documents.
|
|
Step
9:
|
|
Write the Policy(ies).
Send to appropriate parties (original to
the insured, copies to everyone else).

Step
10:
|
|
Remit to ATGF the
Premium Transmittal Form and a copy of the
Policy(ies), Endorsements and
Authorizations (if any).
