We are pleased to announce that on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, ATGF, Inc. will be sponsoring a CE and CLE accredited luncheon seminar for which two (2) hours of Insurance CE and two (2) hours of Lawyer CLE are offered.  In addition to CE and CLE credit, lunch and beverages will be provided to those in attendance.

The Presenters and their topics

Maurizio Romanin, Attorney at Law (Canada), President and CEO of LawyerDoneDeal Corp. and Chairman of Attorneys Title Guaranty Fund, Inc. Mr. Romanin will be speaking on topics relating to new and enhanced risks faced by the title insurance underwriters, changes in the title insurance industry in response, and the immediate and prospective impact on attorneys and independent title agencies.  Mr. Romanin will speak to the topics of: cyber-crime; increased pressure on title companies from lenders and brokers to engage in direct business; ideas for preserving the underwriter/independent agent relationship; other timely topics.

Brian A. Coleman,  Attorney and Executive Vice President of Attorneys Title Guaranty Fund, Inc. He will discuss pitfalls and problems that Utah title agents face, especially in the context of Mr. Romanin’s industry-wide analysis, including the risks arising in Utah based in cyber-fraud, lender- and broker-approval issues, etc. Mr. Coleman will also discuss preventive and due diligence measures required to avoid claims and losses under title policies issued by ATGF title agents.
The combined presentation is scheduled for two (2) hours.

The luncheon/seminar will be held at the Utah Law and Justice Center from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with registration beginning at 10:30 a.m. The presentation will commence at 11:00 a.m. Lunch will be served during the break between the first and second hours of the program. The $40.00 fee for this program, payable to Attorneys Title Guaranty Fund, Inc., may be paid in advance or at the door (Sorry, no debit or credit cards).
